WEEK THREE
WEEK THREE
19 Villagers
They say nothing is healthier for the mind and body than physical labor - especially if you can hold the fruits of it in your hands and store it in your kitchen. Whatever cruelties you have witnessed or endured in the past week, your fields need tending to and they reward you with as quick as harvest as always.
If drowning your grief in work is not enough for you, there are new spots to explore in Puffin Town. Allow the novelty to distract you from your dwindling numbers!
Always remember, the value of a community is not measured by it's size.
(( OOC: Murder proposals are due by Tuesday at 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST for this final week! Get your bloodthirst in or forever hold your peace! Gift submission is still open as well!
If your character has been planting Astera, here's a reminder to report it at the Astera tracker - this does not need to have been threaded, we're just taking stock on an OOC level.))

She does actually bother to wear something nicer than her usual farmcore fits, and she doesn't need a duck to encourage her to talk to anyone.]
Well, how do you feel about being my special someone for a moment?
[Complete with a wink! The horrors persist but a woman can still flirt.]
no subject
This is good enough for them, apparently. ]
Is that you asking for a dance?
[ They won't mind, at any rate. ]
no subject
[Azure holds out her hand to them.]
Though, I must admit I don't know a lot about dancing in festivals.

I could always lead? I know some movements.
[ Not really formal, but fun; ones that make you hop around with a lot of energy, yet want to hold on tight and never let go. ]

[She doesn't often let other people take charge, but she'll allow it this time. It doesn't even matter what the dance is like, because it's just for fun.]
no subject
[ Enkidu enjoys taking charge sometimes, because it's fun, like now.
For Azure, their movements are sprightly, fluid motions that seem nothing less than carefree, and they even add in fun little twirls or tilts alongside some energetic hop, skip, and jumps.
It's a very active dance that leaves for little downtime, but it is done with an undeniable excitement all the same. ]

[ he points to himself, blinking a couple times with wide eyes. surely she can’t be talking to him… ]
no subject
[She offers him her hand, trying very hard not to laugh at him.]
no subject
[ he takes one final glance elsewhere just to confirm what she says. seeing that there is truly no one else in her line of sight, a small laugh bubbles from his lips.
he takes her hand in his own, holding it gently. ]
Haha… well, it would be rude to say no to a lady… though I’m not much of a dancer either. Let’s figure this out with the music.

Come on, what are you waiting for?
[She'll even lean down so she can take the duck's... wing?? in her hands so they can dance Properly.]
no subject
[Beautiful lady....the duck happily puts its wing in her hand with a new bounce in its step. Let's dance! Though it will let Azure decide who's to lead.]
no subject
Though she keeps the dance simple and on the slower end, so the duck can keep up with its little duck feets. In my head this just looks like a dad dancing with their small child at a wedding or something.]

that is to say, vayne stares for a moment, points to himself like 'me? really?', then starts waving his hands in front of him a little in hasty if sheepish negation. ]
I, um, don't really know how to dance, sorry...?
no subject
You don't need to know how to dance to do it - besides, who could judge you for having two left feet?
no subject
[ glances at
dancing queen, young and sweet, only (duck years old), for one ]
Besides, I wouldn't want to step on anyone's toes ... literally, I mean.
