They say nothing is healthier for the mind and body than physical labor - especially if you can hold the fruits of it in your hands and store it in your kitchen. Whatever cruelties you have witnessed or endured in the past week, your fields need tending to and they reward you with as quick as harvest as always.

If drowning your grief in work is not enough for you, there are new spots to explore in Puffin Town. Allow the novelty to distract you from your dwindling numbers!

[ The duck waddles closer before shaking its head no and tilting it quizzically. ] Quack...

He’s a country musician. Do you at least know what country music is?

[ It nods yes and bounces on its webbed feet. ] Quack!

I see. This is quality country, at least, let's put some on.

[He puts it on, good luck dancing romantically to Country Roads everybody.]

If you don't work here, what exactly do you do?

[ It starts bobbing around slowly, but happily to the music. ]

Quack, quackquack. Quack.

[ The answer seems to come with extra pantomiming using both of its wings. It makes a big O around one of its eyes before looking around to and fro. ]

Hm. You're looking for something, or you're supposed to watch us. Which is it?

[He's talking to a duck. He's trying to understand what a duck wants.

Well, maybe it's closer to trying to understand a baby since animals don't usually know what human speech is.]

Quack. [ The duck nods. ] Quack quack. [ It shakes its head. ]

I see. And what is it you're looking for?

A way out? Or if this is supposed to be fantasy space, a way to break some curse that made you a duck? Both, even?

[ The duck appears to suddenly space out, staring at the gramophone with interest. ]

What? No, focus! What are you looking for?!

[The duck's being difficult on purpose! Walter looks to the gramophone.]

...my god, they've broken you.

[ The duck seems to be vibing to Country Roads. At least up until that last line of Walter's. ]
