Well, I mean ... We know what she wants, I think. It's... there in the community center. She's made it clear every time she talks to us.

She wants to be happy here, and she wants people to be happy living here with her.

[ she wants a community. she wants to be connected to people... ]

But the thing is ... what she wants and what she does ... it doesn't add up. Or I guess— maybe she just doesn't get it? She thinks people can be happy if they forget everything that would make them sad, but ... that's not living. That's just ... existing.

[ and if it's really the case that adela just doesn't understand, to him, that's just ... kind of sad. he'd feel bad for her, only... well. ]

It feels like there should be something there, yeah. [ His tone is much more quiet as he admits that, before he waves a hand. ] Been too busy running all over to really think about any of it though.

... Maybe that's what Adela wants too. If we're too busy doing work we won't notice how empty the place gets.

Pretty sure if she wanted to cut it all away, she would have already. Not sure why she took what she did or why we get things back. All of that is a bit beyond me, yo. It does seem like she wants to make this place home and wants company for whatever reason.
