They say nothing is healthier for the mind and body than physical labor - especially if you can hold the fruits of it in your hands and store it in your kitchen. Whatever cruelties you have witnessed or endured in the past week, your fields need tending to and they reward you with as quick as harvest as always.

If drowning your grief in work is not enough for you, there are new spots to explore in Puffin Town. Allow the novelty to distract you from your dwindling numbers!

Because Mio is jiiii-ing at the green duck. Maybe the sweater is gone, but the duck's little tuxedo is a very similar color, and it's swaggering with such carefree joy.

[Walter exists in the festival despite having no real reason to be here given those memories have made him feel sicker and the idea of him having a special someone here is ridiculous. --even thinking about the concept makes his stomach churn.

So he tries to find the closest thing to a ginger ale among the fancy drink and largely wallflowers like a chaperone at a dance.

[ Kurapika isn't too keen on attending a dance, but changing into a suit? He definitely does that, looking far more comfortable in the black, well-fitted suit he's picked out for himself than he has in any of the flannels or overalls he's worn here so far.

He does at least check out the Flower Dance out of sheer curiosity, but he lingers (and wall-flowers) for long enough that one of the ducks bumps into him and hurtling towards someone else on the dancefloor. At least he just barely manages to catch himself. ]

...We might as well, then. I'm not any good at this, though.

It adds a gesture of putting its wings around its eyes and then shaking its head.

But then the duck shrugs. It tilts its head some more. That's its question, sir. ]

Can't argue with the logic there. I don't think it's going to do much good whether or not we're armed, though. You saw what happened at trial. Even if we kill in self defense, it's still a murder.

[ vayne freezes for a half-moment at the address, stumbling just a little through his next step before craning his head back to see who it is. ]

[ well, caught. since secrecy is out the window now he just sighs a little, his shoulders rolling in a small, quiet shrug before he glances back at healy. he does hear the question that isn't quite being asked, but has to take a moment to debate internally whether or not to answer it. ]

I did make one for Sora too, last week.

[ no point in excluding beelzebub, even without getting into anyone's feelings on him in specific. it's said a little hesitantly, though, as if expecting some amount of rebuke for it even then. ]

Why?

[The question isn't accusatory. Vayne isn't the first person he's heard a similar sentiment from. Maybe Healy's outlook is colored by his lack of connection to the killers, but it's odd to him, treating them all like victims.]

I'm not saying you're wrong for it. I just don't get it.

... I started thinking about doing this when we found out about the whole .... memory thing. Back then, we didn't know if it would get worse, so I thought ... No matter what someone did, it seems sad if we just forgot them, like they never existed.

I didn't really know any of them. [ maybe keito a little, that first week, but only him, and only for one week. ] So maybe I shouldn't be doing this at all, if I wasn't that close to them. But then, at the same time, I think... it's not really my place to decide who does or doesn't get to be remembered.

Being here at all is like we're... no, not forced. Coerced, right? It isn't— normal.

[ so maybe some of the victims or culprits might've been assholes. maybe what they did has nothing to do with the situation they're in here, and they would have done the same regardless of the terms hovering over them. but he can't judge them for things he doesn't know about, things that aren't here.

so. everyone gets a charm, victim or culprit. whether or not people leave it at that isn't up to vayne. ]

[ But, just like that, they see he's able to keep up just fine. Not many people can, for that matter, and so that adds to the fun of it all; even better when he's going with the flow with ease. ]
