WEEK TWO

23 Villagers

Three people have fallen and a tower has risen. Along with it, some of the restraints on your mind have dispersed and a memory has returned to you - is it precious, is it painful? Is it cherished, is it loathed?

Mercilessly, dawn breaks on another morning. The rooster still calls, and the crops still need tending to. Rise and shine, Puffin Town! It seems like the residents are not the only thing that has chosen to rise, as a few more establishments have opened up for exploration. The sound of moo-ing near the farms may feel especially inviting here - how about making some new additions to your farms, to drown out your loneliness?

There is no festival just yet but if you question the ducks on it, some excited quacking will herald fun things to come later in the week. Some of the ducks will also wave the gift notes from last week; regardless of murder, being kind to your neighbors is still encouraged! Can't let our beautiful town sink into gloom and doom, right?

(( OOC: Murder proposals are due by Tuesday at 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST, for the current week's murder, but feel free to submit for later weeks if you like!

We have also added a page to report your Astera planting - this does not need to have been threaded, we're just taking stock on an OOC level.

Further, the Gift Mechanic has been updated. All turned in threads will now yield a character specific item as a reward! We're only dipping into the random gacha once all personalized rewards have been given out.))

[ This duck in a oversized pink cardigan with sunflowers is sitting in a booth with one thing.

On a nicely fluffed pillow, sits a sharp, pointy knife. It even comes with a sheath, so there isn't any accidents handling it.

Despite this, the duck is just sitting there, looking serene. ]

[when it catches it, it does a little "ta-da!" pose! YEAH...!]

[Just reacting all sheepish-like over here with a little bow.]

[ This duck hopes it did this with the sheath on.

But it gives it some claps with its sleeve-covered wings, so it's pretty poor clapping, but this duck tried. ]

[It did not because it lives on the edge.]

[It does a little bow after it puts the knife back. Hehe. Showing off its skills...]

[ Then even more impressive, other duck! This duck will fluff up the pillow again, because gotta do some shopkeeping? Yes. ]

Whoa! I didn't know a bird could be so badass. [ How do you do that with your flap flaps ]

[ Confused and concerned eye contact with knife duck: established. ]

Quack.

[ This duck blinks and flaps one covered wing in an... assuring? gesture. ]

[ Threat: spotted. Amy takes a tiny step back. Is this about to be Revenge of the Ducks??? ]

[ This duck tilts its head in confusion, but doesn't move from its spot.

It puts the sheath on the knife, so she doesn't have to look at it. ] Quack quack.

[ A peace offering!!! ]

Why do you have a knife?

[ The duck puts a wing to its chin, and then does a series of gestures that pretty much ends up like incomprehensible flapping while quacking.

At the end, this duck goes back to its pondering stance. ]

Amy doesn’t think anyone is looking, so she does a small and brief imitation of the duck wings, then points to the knife. Are they communicating now. ]
