TRIAL

Once again, the investigations conclude -- though they're more ponderous this time, burdened by the number and knowledge of additional deaths, and the awareness that there's limited means of dealing with them -- and once again the ducks gather everyone at the back of the JojaMart along with Makima's wagon, Adela's quiet, the pile of evidence.

Everyone trundles into the loading bay, which isn't all that much livelier than before, penned in by stacks of shelves and crating; but at least it's functional, overly well-lit and there's tea to while away the time discussing murders and mayhem.

As the loading bay door slides closed, you're left with a wagonful of evidence, a double handful of murders and the knowledge that time is ticking down -- for everyone.

So him going for alchemy to defend himself makes sense, since it wasn't like he was much of a fighter. I know it doesn't actually make this easier to solve, but if anyone was still doubting his intentions...

It's nothing to thank me for. I just know his character had been called into question before, but he seemed sincere about wanting to defend and not go out and hurt anyone else.
