Once again, the investigations conclude -- though they're more ponderous this time, burdened by the number and knowledge of additional deaths, and the awareness that there's limited means of dealing with them -- and once again the ducks gather everyone at the back of the JojaMart along with Makima's wagon, Adela's quiet, the pile of evidence.

Everyone trundles into the loading bay, which isn't all that much livelier than before, penned in by stacks of shelves and crating; but at least it's functional, overly well-lit and there's tea to while away the time discussing murders and mayhem.

As the loading bay door slides closed, you're left with a wagonful of evidence, a double handful of murders and the knowledge that time is ticking down -- for everyone.

Might be why the place was a mess if someone huge was lumbering around.

Does that mean the cases are connected? [ Wow that's making it complicated and he's not about complicated ]

If Beelzebub doesn't remember leaving the farmhouse, he might've needed carried. So even someone who was much larger than normal would have to be very strong. I didn't see any drag marks like I came across last week, but let me look at my photos.

Hey, what if he wasn't dragged or carried? He could have meant to be another victim but someone knocked him out so hard he blacked out that night?

Could they have thought he was dead and left him at the blacksmith?

Did someone get a good look at his wounds?

According to him, he only suffered a head wound. I doubt any third party would leave him for dead with only that, considering the state of the other corpses.

So were they ... trying to frame him?

Sure. Two girls die and he's only left unconscious? People might think that Bibi or Amy were fighting back against him and then died from their wounds, somehow.

That, or there simply was no third party at all. He was blocking the only door, after all.

Sora remembered everything, didn't he? ... I guess Beelzebub could be faking it, but...

It's also terribly convenient when his memory cuts off. No matter his connection with the dead, it'd be unwise to not consider him a suspect.

Are you saying he's probably faking not being able to remember doing it, or that he could have killed them without realizing somehow, and now doesn't remember doing it?

[ because if it's the second... ouch. but yeah, he's double checking his memory of how beelzebub was found now. ]

There was blood on him. Around the chest area... but he's not that injured. There wasn't a trail or anything either, between Bibi's body and Beelzebub...

Wouldn't there be more blood on him too if he had cut open Bibi's chest? Using gardening shears to do it cant be neat, it's not like a sword.

Right. The amount doesn't really seem to make sense...? But it did look like enough for us to be worried he was hurt at first, is the thing.

[ so like, if beelzebub didn't do any stabbing, how did the blood get there. there's nothing obvious for a hypothetical third party to have like, carried over a handful in to drip some on beelzebub to make a point or frame him... ah, wait. ]

None of the molds or anything were stained from being used to carry anything... right?

... I guess the other thing is that Bibi might... already have been dead when her heart was torn out.

If she'd been hit on the head hard enough...

Getting hit on the head did such a number on Beelzebub, so if the same person hit her...

Depends on if her heart was still beating when someone rammed it in. I wouldn't expect the same amount of blood if she'd already passed when the deed was done.

Yes... that was why I tried to lift his shirt in the first place. I was concerned that he might have been injured.

He said he was only hit on the head, but we could get closer to see if there's something he's missing.

I know after I get hit really hard, I tend to not think about any other wounds, yo. [ Do they need to check Beel out? ]
