After waking up to bloodshed two Fridays in a row, nobody can blame you for feeling a bit apprehensive as you open your eyes this morning. The air is clear and the birds are singing, but you've learned not to trust a seemingly beautiful day, have you not?

Where the ducks had been excited in the first week and ambivalent in the second, they feel mostly absent today, as though they are avoiding the outdoors for some reason. It really feels like you all are the only people in this village right now. It's a small, small community, and you can hope against hope that it has not gotten any smaller overnight.
